This is a custom skinner style blade with original fancy tooled leather sheath. Mirror polished 4 3/4" 440C stainless steel blade in 3/16" thick blade stock, 8 3/4" overall, beautiful Osage Orange wood handle, stainless guard and custom shaped stainless pommel with micarta & aluminum spacers. Excellent, unused condition. Here is your chance to own one of the very first knives made by one of the greatest knifemakers of all time in an almost equally famous maker's shop. This knife exhibits the legendary Johnson blade grind, fit, and finish. This knife and sheath are in absolutely mint condition. Included is the letter of authenticity written and signed by S. R. Johnson in 2010, he also added a fingerprint in blood to 100% guarantee the authenticity of this ultra rare collector piece. I also have a massive Jungle Bowie with sheath made by Steve Johnson around the same time in the Draper shop with a matching letter of authenticity.
